January 22, 2020 – January 26, 2020
2020 ushers in an era of metamorphic change for Moving in the Spirit. Through the efforts of many incredible partners, Moving in the Spirit is a matter of months from taking up residence in our new home, our space to soar, at Edgewood/Candler Park Station.
The generosity we continue to receive from Atlanta’s arts and business communities is evident in our first of many exciting events of this year, a collaboration with The Cathedral Antiques Show and Tour of Homes.
The Cathedral Antiques Show has raised more than $5 million for Atlanta-area nonprofits since its inception in 1969. An annual community outreach project sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women of the Cathedral of St. Philip, 100% of the net proceeds go to a different beneficiary organization each year.
Moving in the Spirit is excited to be the 2020 beneficiary of this extraordinary series of events, which runs Wednesday, January 22nd – Sunday, January 26th.
- Speaker’s Cocktail Party – An intimate up-close meet and greet with celebrity speakers for The Cathedral Antiques Show, including Carson Kressley, Thom Filicia, Putnam & Putnam, Bronson van Wyck, Jackye Lanham, Stan Dixon and Joe Brady.

- Flower Festival

“The beneficiary choice ultimately comes down to my choice as it has with all other chairmen,” says event chair, Jenny McClure. “It was your mission, your people, your board, your leadership…should I go on? We love the whole package and are excited that you are the 2020 Antiques Show Beneficiary.”
There are several chances to experience all this iconic Atlanta event has to offer:

Proceeds from The Cathedral Antiques Show will help Moving in the Spirit expand our programming throughout metro-Atlanta. The timing of this partnership couldn’t be better, as we’re on the cusp of moving our base of operations from our current Old Fourth Ward location to our new home in the Edgewood neighborhood. Within the next five years, we will more than double the number of families we serve.
