Alina Hinton is a proud Moving in the Spirit alumna and an Atlanta native. She is a Physical & Health Educator at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School. Alina has a B.S. in Sociology and Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University, and she also holds a M.S. in Human Services with a specialization in Social and Community Services from Capella University. A woman of many talents, Alina is the owner of Magnificent Moments Events & Party Planning, based in Atlanta, GA. She has been a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc since 2006.
Alina started dancing at Moving in the Spirit when she was 3 years old and traveled throughout the U.S. and abroad with our teen touring company, the Apprentice Cooperation. She is a dedicated and hard working member of Moving in the Spirit’s Alumni Association, where she serves as president. Alina has expertise in conflict resolution, peer education/mediation, and modern/lyrical dance. She actively participates in her community, encouraging youth to use their voices through the arts. She’s forever grateful for her loving husband and two sons for their support in everything she does.
