Eric is a telecommunications and IT executive with extensive experience at Fortune 100 companies across software, telecommunications, and entertainment. He has sales, marketing and product management experience in network infrastructure, business solutions, consumer electronics, and satellite broadcasting.
Prior to joining Samsung, Eric was Global Vice President of Services Marketing for Amdocs. He previously spent many years at Microsoft and Nokia, managing the AT&T account across product, services, network infrastructure, and business development.
Earlier in his career, Eric worked in the cable industry, both with Turner Broadcasting and DirecTV. He then moved to Microsoft, where he oversaw the channel launch of Microsoft’s WebTV and Ultimate TV, followed by business management for the XBOX introduction in Europe and Japan. He also was the global product manager for Microsoft Business Solutions Small and Medium Business Suite.
Eric is a native Georgian, and loyal Bulldog. He is an active member in the Atlanta community, serving as a member of the board of directors of 3 non-profit organizations. His passion for improving children’s public education in the state of Georgia has impacted over 100,000 students in the Atlanta area since 2005.
Eric is married with 3 children. When not watching baseball or lacrosse, he plays competitive golf with a loyal group of sandbaggers who take his money more often times than not.
