Val Rusk is Vice President, Business Operations and Administration, CNN International for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.). She also serves as co-chair of TBS, Inc.’s pro bono legal committee and received the 2011 Volunteer of the Year award from the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta.
Prior to joining TBS, Inc. in 2004, Val was labor and employment associate at Ford & Harrison, LLP in Atlanta. She served as an advisor and litigator for employers nationwide on federal and state employment law matters.
Val graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia where she also served on the moot court team and worked with a local law firm. Val has a passion for community involvement and along with her pro bono legal work she has volunteered with Georgia Reading for the Blind and Atlanta Adopt-A-Grandparent.
