About The Touring Company
Moving in the Spirit’s Touring Company, comprised of our most advanced students, offers uplifting performances of modern dance that celebrate diversity and make a difference in the world. To create their powerful pieces, our gifted teen artists collaborate with innovative Atlanta choreographers, including Lori Teague, Juana Farfán, DeLa Sweeney and Dana Lupton.
Our Touring Company has traveled across the United States and performed overseas in France, the Czech Republic and Hungary. This year’s company will kick-off Moving in the Spirit’s 25th season with an international tour to Panama.
Book a Performance
The Touring Company is available to perform for community organizations, churches, and corporate and private events. Additionally, the company offers workshops and talkbacks with our young artists. Current and past hosts of our Touring Company include 7 Stages Youth Creates, Duke Young Writers Workshop, The Art Factory and The Columbia Museum of Art.
Performances and workshops can be shaped to suit a variety of ages, needs and occasions.
