What is the most important thing you’ve learned from being in GLOW in Motion?
The most important thing I’ve learned is that I can rely on other people, that I’m not alone and that there are other people that I can connect with.
Which of the pieces in the show is your favorite? Why?
I really like State of the World because it’s a bit challenging. I like being challenged. And I really like how we’re addressing social issues with the piece.
What do you hope to be when you get older? Why?
I really enjoy dancing, singing and acting, so my dream was to be on Broadway, but things happening in the world right now are making me want to be a journalist so I can talk about what’s going on.
What advice would you give a girl your age who wasn’t feeling confident?
I would tell her that it gets better and you’re going to fall sometimes, but you have to pick yourself and there will be better things ahead of you.
If you weren’t part of GLOW in Motion or at Moving in the Spirit, what do you think you would miss the most?
I would miss the lifestyle and I feel like I would be insecure because Moving in the Spirit has done so much for my confidence.
Why do you think it’s important for girls to be leaders?
I feel that it’s important for girls to be leaders because there is a male privilege, and we don’t really think about it that much, but girls go through a lot. There’s a bit of a struggle and we need to empower ourselves and stay confident and get stronger so we can shine.
