Getting to Zero: The Movement Continues

Getting to Zero is a humorous, empowering dance, created by teens and for teens, to confront the fears and taboos that prevent their friends from talking honestly about personal choices, safe sex, and the rise of HIV/AIDS diagnoses among youth.

Did you know?

  • There has been a 70% spike in HIV/AIDS diagnoses in teens
  • Atlanta is an epicenter among U.S. cities when it come to the rate of new diagnoses

Our goal is to get to zero new cases of HIV/AIDS.

Join us at 7 Stages Theatre as we continue to raise awareness of this epidemic among young people through dance and dialogue.

This work, commissioned by the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, is intended to raise awareness and educate youth ages 13-24 about HIV/AIDS prevention. The movement continues on June 22, 3 PM at 7 Stages Theatre, in collaboration with design students from the 7 Stages Youth Creates program, and will live on until we get to ZERO new cases of HIV/AIDS.
