Moving Through Conflict: A Dance-Based Conflict Resolution Workshop
June 15, 2014 @ 4:30 am - 5:30 pmFREE
Conflict can be constructive or destructive, depending on a person’s awareness of feelings and skills for dealing with conflict. Through fun, interactive role-playing, participants will learn about four types of communication — passive, aggressive, passive-aggressive, and assertive — and useful processes for effectively managing conflict in relationships. These steps greatly improve the likelihood that problems can be understood, solutions explored, and a negotiated agreement can be reached.
No dance experience necessary to participate.
