Outdoor Meet & Greet

September 25 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Saturday, September 25th from 11 AM – 1 PM

Save the date and bring a friend to Moving in the Spirit’s outdoor Meet & Greet on Saturday, September 25th.

Meet our teachers, connect with other Moving in the Spirit families, and dance, dance, dance with us!

Due to the rising transmission rate of COVID-19, activities will be conducted outdoors in the beautiful greenspace adjacent to Moving in the Spirit’s studios.

We’ll have water, cool treats, music and dance games for the whole family.

To participate in activities, all guests must wear a mask for the duration of the event and sign in upon arrival.

This event is free to the community.

Getting to us:

Moving in the Spirit is located at 1458 LaFrance St NE, Atlanta, GA 30307. We are easily accessible by rail — right next to MARTA’s Edgewood/Candler Park station — and we encourage the use of public transportation. Street parking is also available.

We look forward to meeting you!

About our classes:

Moving in the Spirit is a creative youth development program that uses dance to help children and teens build the skills they need to thrive. We link our class structure directly to youth development goals, designed to transition children successfully into adulthood.

Young people in our programs:
• Study modern dance, choreography, and other dance forms
• Perform in a year-end show
• Work with our city’s top teaching and professional artists
• Become creative artists and compassionate leaders

We’re currently enrolling students ages 3-18, beginner to advanced. Open-level classes are available for all ages, and sliding-scale tuition available. Classes for the 2021-2022 program year begin on Monday, October 4th.
