Dana Marie Lupton, Executive/Artistic Director of Moving in the Spirit, was honored with a Womenetics 2014 POW! Award on April 30, 2014. Since 2009, Womenetics has presented the POW! Awards to recognize extraordinary female leaders who have attained a high level of transformative success in business, academia or a non-profit, and are change agents in the community, respected for significant contributions locally and globally.

The event’s theme – “The Defining Moment” – ignited a discussion about the catalytic experiences and opportunities that shaped the careers and lives of Atlanta’s and Chicago’s leading women. Learn more about Dana’s “Defining Moment” below:

In addition to demonstrating the impact of women’s leadership in business and organization, the Womenetics POW! Award winners aim to inspire other women to grow their skills and seize opportunities that will maximize their potential.
