Kendall Harris, 11, 5th grade

What is a hero?

To me it means, a person who is all about saving someone’s life. Heroes are there, even though they might not know that something’s going to happen, they’re in the right place at the right time.

Who are your heroes? Why do you look up to them?

My parents because if I have something that I can’t tell anybody else and that I think I should, the first people I go to are my parents. If there’s a problem, they solve it.

How are you a hero through your dancing?

Because I think that anyone can be a dancer if they decide to be.

What has being in Men in Motion taught you about being a hero?

If my friends in Men in Motion feel left out, I help them feel like “You are also a part of the group.”

What is your favorite dance in the show? Why did you choose that one?

Heroes of Tomorrow is my favorite because I feel like we’re also having fun as we dance.
